Social Housing Warranty

Our Social Housing Warranty has been developed for Housing Associations, Registered Social Landlords and Builders working on social housing developments for rent. You can feel confident that if any structural defects arise within the first 10 or 12 years after your build is complete we will effectively resolve the issue. We will also support you during the build with our expert surveyors offering advice wherever required.

Features of our cover:

  • 10 or 12 year Structural Warranty cover
  • Insolvency cover available both pre and post completion (subject to approval)
  • Full risk transfer in years 2-10 (or 12) of cover
  • Additional cover available for loss of rent
  • Cover available for mixed-use developments
  • Cover available once construction has commenced
  • Cover as standard for alternative accommodation, additional costs, removal of debris and professional fees

Tenants Right-to-Buy 

If a tenant decides that they would like to purchase the property within the first 5 years of the building being finished, we can supply a full 10 years warranty (from the date of sale) to that owner to protect them against major damage.
