Our Completed Project Warranty (also referred as Latent Defects Insurance) has been designed for completed properties which are less than five years old and were built without the benefit of a Structural Warranty.
For the purposes of this cover, a Completed Development is defined as the structure/s which building works have been completed less or equal to 5 years before policy inception.
Cover is provided for the balance of 10 years, so for example if you require cover for a 3 year old property, you would receive 7 years of cover.
Up to 10 years of Structural Warranty cover - Full protection against losses caused by defects in the design and/or materials and/or workmanship of a property which results in major damage to the structural elements.
Full risk transfer from year one of cover - even if the contractor ceases trading or enters into administration.
Cover as standard for additional costs of removal of debris, professional fees and protection for underground drainage.
Cover available for waterproofing of roofs, waterproofing of external walls, waterproofing for basements, alternative accommodation costs and loss of rental income
