What our surveyors do
Premier Guarantee surveyors assess developments for warranty purposes against our Technical Manual.
We aim to prevent defects occurring and inspect to ensure the design aligns with the as-built, improving the quality of the home to the homeowner or tenant.
For Building Control purposes, Premier Guarantee RBIs ensure the design meets building regulations, adhering to guidance in all Approved Documents.
The vast majority of our surveyors are either Chartered Members or Fellows of CABE or the CIOB. Those that are not are working towards their Chartership having recently graduated from our internal training academy or via external recruitment.
Our surveyors are locally based and therefore have a thorough understanding of regional issues and how to avoid or overcome them.

The surveyor from Premier Guarantee has been fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble and [they are] on site two to three times a week, always flexible and work around us and how we work.
Our surveying process
Plan Review (Building Control)
Once your order has been accepted we will ask you to submit your plans for review.
Our dedicated team of building control Project Managers will review your designs and provide reports with constructive advice for meeting the building regulation requirements to enable a successful sign-off.
Technical Audit (Warranty)
A dedicated Premier Guarantee Risk Management Surveyor will be assigned to your project.
Their first task will be to undertake a Site Risk Assessment of your project.
They will work with you to create your bespoke technical inspection plan based on the complexity of your build. This is all accesible to you on our Extranet in real time.

Our surveyors
Our surveyors will bring any items of concern to the attention of the site management team who can then discuss resolutions with the principal designer.
Following on fron site visits, our surveyors will prepare a Site Visit Report which will highlight any areas or defects that require action required by the site team. This will also indicate future guidance that we would expect to rectified when we next visit that plot.
Our aim is to minimise the 'turn up and find errors' philosophy which delay your build programme whilst you remediate. Telling you in advance eliminates the vast majority of these which would have been recorded as defects by others.
