An ‘Insurance Product Information Document’ or IPID is a standardised document summarising insurance cover which is now commonplace for general insurances. We have made the decision to implement IPIDs to support understanding of the structural warranties making it easier for developers to compare providers, and providing transparency for homeowners who can quickly understand the cover available before agreeing to purchase a property.
